Disneyland Paris
We love Disneyland. We loved Disneyworld! And with Disneyland Paris just hours away we knew we would be soaking up all the magic we could…contemplating annual passes as I type this.
When I saw that Disneyland Paris was hosting after-hours events for Halloween, I knew we had to go. We have done after-hours events at both Disneyland and Disneyworld and I love how special they are, and that the park feels far less crowded that regular days.

French Pottery in Soufflenheim
You know what’s wild? I’ll tell you. You can live in a place and have no idea what cool things are right outside your door. I was reminded of this again arriving in Soufflenheim, France. Twenty or so years ago I lived in Strasbourg for a month and really had no idea this was so close! Soufflenheim is a “little town, it’s a quiet village,” (Beauty and the Beast reference intended…the villages of the Alsace area are exactly the Beauty and the Beast look) just north of Strasbourg that goes waaaayyy back with their production of pottery.
Esslingen at Night
Sometimes I do too much. It was the end of a busy week and I saw a night time walking tour offered for a neighboring town that I had wanted to go see, so I booked it on the spot and arranged a sitter for B & N, and informed M & E that we were going.
(cue lots of groaning…)
